Winter weather must haves!

Hello everyone! I'm interested in hearing what everyone's MUST HAVES are for winter weather survival! Also, why do you love them so much?  🙂

Re: Winter weather must haves!

My #1 in keeping my super dry skin baby soft and fresh in the winter is the Korres Greek Yoghurt sleeping mask! It is AMAZING!! But caution sleeping masks are thick and absorb throughout the night so they do need to be washed off in the morning if you have a lazy day.... bc we are all human... good chance a breakout will occur.

Re: Winter weather must haves!

That is my favorite!!!! I also use it if I use a new product and my skin reacts badly to it. I have really sensitive skin and this is effectively my rescue mask.

Re: Winter weather must haves!

I have a few favourite products that get me through 6 months of winter in the great white north. 😛

I have dry skin to begin with, but through the winter it gets a lot worse. Here's some stuff that has worked wonders:

  1. Fresh's Seaberry Face Oil - it's a moisturizing miracle for my face.
  2. B&BW shea body creams - they don't feel oily whatsoever, they smell amazing, and they stop my skin from cracking apart like a crevasse. I rub it on any dry areas (like my hands) each night, and in the morning my skin feels incredibly soft and moisturized.
  3. Fresh's Sugar Advanced Lip Therapy Treatment - use it all day, every day! It really helps keep my lips intact.
  4. Rosebud salve - Another amazing lip balm!
  5. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask - a serious miracle working. I use it overnight whenever my lips need some serious TLC.
  6. Laneige Multiberry Yogurt Mask - Really great at giving my skin some much needed moisture. I use it once or twice a week through the winter months.

Re: Winter weather must haves!

-hydrating sheet masks

-hydrating toner/essence

-serum

-a great night cream

-exfoliators

-a light oil to mix in with cc cream or foundation to stop caking/flaking if you're extra dry like me

-heavy body butter

-body scrub/exfoliating body glove

-clarisonic pedi attachment/sephora almond foot masks

Things I'm using now that I love: tatcha luminous hydrating serum, farmacy coconut deep hydration sheet masks, PTR un-wrinkle night cream, milk makeup sunshine oil to mix with my base, too cool for school egg mellow body butter, yuni body scrub, dr. jart tiger grass cream

Unrelated to beauty- I love wool socks, lots of layered throw blankets, tea, and cozy candles.

Re: Winter weather must haves!

Belief true cream moisture bomb- it is AMAZING! Murad hydrating essence is also great to layer underneath everything! I also do a lot of sheet masks during this time of here- one every night if I can. Oils are also my favorite add in, I’m using drunk elephant marula oil at the very end of my night time routine to seal everything in!

Re: Winter weather must haves!

Chapstick and Cetaphil moisturizer! Everything gets so dry in the winter that my normal day moisturizer just doesn't cut it so I gotta bring in the big guns!
