my daughter just turned 11. she loves the popular skincare on TikTok and YouTube shorts and I was wondering what would be good for my daughter that wouldn't be to expensive but still good and worth the hype on tiktok

I would suggest for you to get her Glow Recipe. It is a little pricy but worth the hype! If that is too expensive you should get her Summer Fridays. Here are some good options.

I would say if she likes the "preppy" skincare then I think she would like glow recipe. I know the facial spray from glow recipe is very hydrating and good for young skin. But if she is interested in lip products than she might like the summer fridays lip butter balm or the summer fridays lip oil. She may also like one of the Sol De Janeiro body sprays if she is interested in that.

@LailaisCool I think you should get her a gentle cleanser like The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser - Hydrating Makeup Remover 5 oz/ 150 mL  or you could get her a lip balm like LANEIGE Lip Glowy Lightweight Hydration Balm with Shea Butter Gummy Bear   or Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm for Hydration & Shine Birthday Cake   because it’s good to have moisturized lips and it won’t effect her young skin.

Glow recipe! Trendy and actually works. It is slightly pricey but lasts a long time. There are also lots of value sets so you get more bang for your buck. The packaging is cute as well which is a bonus!

I think for a cleanser you should get her the youth to the people green tea and spinach cleanser it comes in a glass bottle that does not break easily and last a year or two it is supper soft and easy to wash off I think this is a great cleanser for all ages  Youth To The PeopleSuperfood Gentle Antioxidant Refillable Cleanser

Summer fridays and laneige products is pretty good if she just wants to follow the trend because i feel like lip balms are the most low risk products so it probably wont damage anything. I also recommend the gentler stuff from glow recipe like (but google active ingredients first)

Skincare for adults is not something I would encourage, you can talk to your family doctor or dermatologist, if she has a skin concern that makes her feel like she needs something more. But adult skincare can be very damaging to young skin.

Drunk elephant is a bit too expensive for an eleven year old but everything else is good

@LailaisCool I honestly don’t believe kids that young need expensive skincare that they see on Tik Tok. I use Aveeno and Cetaphil on my kids.
