What's your opinion on stick masks and serums?

Hey guys, I was hoping to get your opinions on stick skincare products. They seem to be quite trendy right now, and I'm wondering why. I suppose they'd be less messy and easy to pack with you somewhere, but wouldn't a stick format just scream for bacteria collection? 

I got a MILK MAKEUP Watermelon Brightening Face Mask 1 oz/ 30 g in a Sephora Favorites box and I'm really excited to delve into Milk's products. I've always shied away from stick skincare because I worry they'll cause breakouts. Have I been missing out on something amazing all along, or are my suspicions correct and stick masks & serums a recipe for disaster? 

I'm really curious to see what you guys have to say about this!

@CaptainLakie The number one thing for me is the PRECISION it offers in the stick form, you use less and get the most out of the investment.  Hope this helps.
