What's the best exfoliator for skin peeling from Tretinoin use?

I've been using Tret for a few years. I don't have irritation, dryness, redness, or cracking, but I do get dead skin that peels and rolls up upon makeup application.  

I do exfoliate frequently. Chemically with various AHA and BA toners, usually daily. One or twice a week with Dr. Dennis Gross peeling pads. And physically once a week or so with various scrubs. 

I've tried mixing and spacing the days between Tret applications but have never found the perfect routine. It's usually applied 3-4 times a week. I think it's .03%. I don't really mind the peeling (I know it's working!), but I'd love to find an exfoliator that truly works without stripping my skin.

@nashvillebeauty I would think about adding more hydration to your skin. Maybe try a hydrating toner or serum during the day, and a heavier moisturizer on the days or nights between tret uses. You can try adding face mists (I like the Curel one).

@lmaster I've not tried that one.

My skin is normal but leans more towards oily than dry.  I'm careful about adding extra moisture because it makes my makeup wear time shorter, so it depends on the time of day and whether I'm working from home that day.

Items I might use after cleansing and toning might include:

I just ordered Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant Refillable Exfoliator 2.6 oz/ 74g  and I'm considering trying LANEIGE Cream Skin Refillable Toner & Moisturizer with Ceramides and Peptides 5.7 oz / 170 ml   in the future. 

I read that Squalane would be a good thing in a moisturizer for my issue, and I happened to have some  Biossance Marine Algae Eye Cream for Fine Lines & Dark Circles + Squalane 0.5 oz / 15 mL  so I've tried using it for the past few days. So far so good, but it's not economical to be using an eye cream on my face.
