What foundation is best for super dry skin?

Hi, I have super dry skin. I have tried different foundations before and even with moisturizer they dry out my skin. I guess what I'm looking for is a foundation that also works to moisturize my skin. Let me know if you have any suggestions! Thanks guys!

I really love the IT cosmetics cc cream. But really staying hydrated by drinking lots of water and a good skincare routine can make most foundations look good! I layer toner, essence, facial oil, and moisturizer. Then a hydrating primer. Layering has made all the difference for me. No more flaky skin!

As far as a liquid foundation goes, Too Faced Born This Way foundation provides good (and buildable) coverage while imparting hydration to the skin.  It contains coconut water which is known for its hydrating properties and is medium-to-full coverage.  I like using it with a hydrating primer underneath - either the Too Faced Hangover primer, which like the foundation contains coconut water or First Aid Beauty Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer - this one also contains ingredients known for hydrating dry skin.

If you are looking for between a tinted moisturizer and liquid foundation in terms of coverage, I recommend either Hourglass Illusion Hyaluronic Skin Tint or the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream.  The Hourglass one contains hyaluronic acid which plumps and hydrates the skin.  The IT Cosmetics CC cream has some anti-aging ingredients and does a good job of evening out skin tone and discoloration.

Hi! First and foremost drink tons of H2O. It's made a huge difference in my skin with this changing weather.  I've also started using It Cosmetics' CC Cream with SPF 50. I absolutely love it!  This brand is cruelty-free and paraben-free.  😄

I use the Born this way Foundation for my dry skin after using the Hangover Primer which is very hydrating. I’ve tried a few different combos of primers and foundations and this works the best for me by far

I’ve heard mixed reviews but for me Too Faced Born This Way is the first foundation that didn’t emphasize my texture on my face and looked beautiful all day long. I always add one drop of an oil to my foundation as well (I use either Tatchas Camellia oil or lately Kiehls Daily Reviving Concentrate).

Have you tried the IT Cosmetics CC Cream. I use that and the Makeup Forever HD Stick Foundation. I will say that I have developed VERY dry skin in the last few years, so I’ve learned that moisturizer, face oil and a good primer are as important as the foundation you put over it.

I use the Bare Minerals tinted gel moisturizer with SPF 30 along with the Josie Maran argan oil and I have that that works the best to fully moisturize and plump my skin all at the same time
