Under eye dark circles

Hey there. 

First I'd like to thank you in advance for your help. 

Recently I have started to get these really dark bags under my eyes. They're not puffy though. When I take my makeup off all I see is this blue/purpleness under my eyes. 

IT IS NOT A BLACK EYE! But it looks like one and people who see me without my makeup ask me why I have a black eye. 

What do you use for darkness under the eyes? Is this something I will have to cover up forever? Is there a way to get rid of them forever or a product I can use to keep this darkness away?

@ntusque Have you tried Clinique's Even Better Dark Circle Corrector?  It is not a miracle product, but it definitely helps!  It also feels super cooling and refreshing to use because of the metal applicator.

I also swear by Tarte Shape Tape concealer - Hands down best concealer I have ever used.  Sadly, it is not available through Sephora, so I buy mine from Ulta or direct from Tarte.

For prevention, try a cooling mosturizer/ sleeping mask at night (like BELIF Aquabomb). Avoid rubbing your eyes when you're tired or tugging at your eyes when applying makeup. If you have allergies or a cold, take medication to reduce the puffiness. Obviously getting more sleep never hurts either!

For covering, I like a color corrector (like Dior Prime & Color Correct in Yellow) under a luminous concealer (like YSL Touche Eclat) 

If I've gotten little sleep for awhile, I'll use an eye mask (Sephora Collection has great ones!)

IT Cosmetics is good. Also Tarte Maracuja eye treatment. I don't know which but may be both helped me with my dark circles.

I feel you! I had this same issue. I use the Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream. It really brightens up the under eyes. You can use this morning and night, a little goes a long way.

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye concealer does a great job of covering dark circles. I also like UD Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid. It just depends on how dark the circles are.

Is the UD fluid stuff a treatment? I could use it at night when I do my night time routine.

No, it's a color correcting concealer. The peach one is the one for dark circles.

Color corrector is a great way to fix this ! I've recently had a black eye and had to purchase a orange/salmon color corrector. It seemed to disappear under my makeup!! Lancôme is my favorite line of color correctors, they have many colors and work well for me ☺️
