To tone before or after?

I was wondering should you tone before, after or before and after when applying a mask?

Hello! When using a wash- off masks, I like to apply toner after. When using a sheet masks, I tone before. I kind of use a sheet masks at the essence or serum step. Hope that helps.

I would recommend doing it after. when you take off your mask your pores will be more open that before your mask making your toner have more effect on your skin
