Tissue Off Technique?

So I've discovered, yet again, another Origins product I'm in love with. Drink Up Intensive overnight mask😍 I love the smell and hydrating results but wonder about the directions. I've never come across any product that ask me to ?tissue off excess? Is there a special way of doing this? Am I applying too much product for not doing this?

@Sammie2017 Hi. I really like that mask, too, for the same reasons. I actually ignored that step because I never understood what it meant. I must say though that I used it as an overnight mask and/or as a moisturizer. I loved the results. Hope this info is somewhat helpful.
