The Voluspa Branche Vermeil candle has a warm, soft and subtle woodsy pine-like scent with I think a hint of citrus note. It's a warm, comforting scent 🙂

It was the UPS brokerage portion of the fee that seemed quite high. The tax/duties on the package were reasonable.

The fee kept changing. The last phone call that they demanded an answer was over $200. I couldn’t broker bc the port of entry was 7 hrs away from me, honestly they were quite rude. One day it was one amount and I considered it, no where near $60 then it jumped to over $200.

Wow! Apparently UPS and delivery services can charge what they want for brokerage fees? I went on a search for answers for this. I did come across the postal brokerage fees being standard at a very low rate. I didn't phone the post office to double check that info.

They made up their own rules on the phone. I kept asking why the fees changed from one day to the other, and I kept being told duties fluctuate based on the value. I asked had the value changed? She said no. I asked what did change? She finally said I was quoted incorrectly the first time 🤦‍♀️It’s just a scam honestly.

Hopefully this problem can be solved so our Canadian friends can receive gratis without paying brokerage fees and duties. I have noticed that Sephora has a warehouse in Mississauga so perhaps in the future gratis could possibly be shipped from there.
