@Tatcha I was thinking of trying a different challenge, based on your Obento boxes, and am curious to hear your input (I have not recently ordered anything at Sephora which reached $35 so have not tried the eye cream challenge).  Given that I have sensitive dry skin, I was wary of Tatcha skincare for a while as I was concerned that the brand was better for oily skin than for my skin type.  Over the years, as Tatcha has broadened its line, I feel like more products would work well with my skin type.  And, as a result of these great Obento boxes (which make trying more of the line at once, to get a better sense of how it will work for me, more affordable), I was thinking of jumping in and doing a bigger challenge.  Am I correct that the Obento box on the brand site would be better for dry skin and the one on Sephora would be better for oilier skin types?  With dry, sensitive skin, are there Tatcha products that would be more/less ideal for my skin type?  Any input is welcome.  Thanks!

Thank you for your question! The Special Edition Luxury Obento Set on Sephora.com could potentially be for all skin types, however, The Water Cream that is included is ideal for normal to oily skin. Having said that, we have had many friends with dry skin tell us anecdotally that they still use and love The Water Cream for daytime because of its weightless texture, and then use either The Silk Cream or Dewy Skin Cream at night for greater hydration. People with dry skin and concerns of enlarged pores or breakouts also love that The Water Cream helps minimize pore appearance and breakouts. The other Special Edition Luxury Obento Set offered by our brand for the holidays includes The Silk Cream which is ideal for normal to dry skin. The Silk Cream includes a silk and pearl extract that together mimic the amino acid composition of healthy, youthful skin helping to balance to smooth. Regardless of which Obento you choose, all of the items included are formulated with gentle, clean ingredients and are clinically and dermatologist tested to be non-irritating and non-sensitizing making them appropriate for even the most sensitive of skin. @Tatcha Very helpful.  Thank you.  I am a skin care enthusiast and like trying new releases.  As we can see regularly on BIC, people can get overwhelmed with skincare choices (myself included!).  It's nice to get feedback - either from the brand or from users - to help decide.  These Obento boxes are such a great way to try the brand, as are the starter sets.

I’m looking for a product that works around the outer lip area for vertical lines. Something that would do what the Tatcha Brand peony for the eye. Season change and dry lips with the awful vertical lines that worsen with use of dark fall lip color that can bleed out and unfortunately make the dreadful lines look worse. I’m trying very hard to ache to full plump lip that some of us just weren’t born with. Any suggestions please help! I’m a make up junkie I love to create looks on friends and family for their special I occasions to just a awesome night out. But I run into this problem along with several of my loved ones and friends. Thanks Kim

Our friend is right! The skin around the lip is very similar to that which is around the eye! We have many clients anecdotally tell us they love to use their eye cream on the skin around the lips. Then for treatment of the lips themselves, we suggest always moisturizing with our Gold Spun Lip Balm that nourishes deeply and smooths fine lines for a petal soft pout touched with real gold. @Gucci08 you can actually use most eye creams around your mouth area - I've actually been using The Silk Peony for the past two weeks (pretty nice results, no irritation) around my eyes and dabbing the excess from my fingertips around my mouth because I'd run out of lip balm. I would also suggest using lip balm under all lipsticks and at night because it will help the condition of your lips as we move into winter.
