TATCHA ESSENCE OR CAUDALIE??

i have both! i want to hear your opinions ☺️

Re: TATCHA ESSENCE OR CAUDALIE??

I see much more of a difference with the Tatcha Essence compared to Caudalie! It leaves my skin soft and plump. Caudalie just has that cool feeling and not much else.

As for the "natural" ingredient comment, natural means nothing.

RE: TATCHA ESSENCE OR CAUDALIE??

Did you read ingredients to see which one maybe has the best natural ingredients.

RE: TATCHA ESSENCE OR CAUDALIE??

I prefer the Caudalie one. Yet there are MUCH better essences on the Korean skincare side that aren’t as expensive!!

Re: TATCHA ESSENCE OR CAUDALIE??

Caudalie

RE: TATCHA ESSENCE OR CAUDALIE??

I use the May Coop Raw Sauce and absolutely love it. I tried the SK-II and it worked well, but the price point did not add up to the purported benefits.

Re: TATCHA ESSENCE OR CAUDALIE??

SK-II is the best!! Can't live without it

Re: TATCHA ESSENCE OR CAUDALIE??

I was considering buying the Tatcha essence but then was told that the SK 11 was better. Now I'm not sure which one to go with.

Re: TATCHA ESSENCE OR CAUDALIE??

Hi @merryjess!

I also looked into the SKII but decided against it due to containing parabens.  Tatcha doesn't contain parabens, so my vote would be for Tatcha 🙂

I'm not totally against parabens, but if I can avoid them, I will.  There are way too many products with parabens and other ingredients that aren't so great. I try to balance the mix since you can't get away from them completely without going all out organic/natural.

Re: TATCHA ESSENCE OR CAUDALIE??

Depends on your skin type I'd say....

plus your age matters too,obviously.

their both great companies,I personally heard another company

is great

BOSCIA which I'm purchasing.its the Sake brightening one...in a blue bottle .....think it's $66

here in cda.

so you might consider another company if neither suits you anymore.

just my opinion.

ps I've only tried their serums & moisturizers not the essences ....& skin mist ( of tatcha)

RE: TATCHA ESSENCE OR CAUDALIE??

I have the Caudalie essence and I don't like how it smells (kinda like something has fermented) and it doesn't do anything for my skin. I tried the Tatcha..... totally different story! I love its silkyness (if that's even a word) and that it has no smell. It softens my skin and makes it more supple. Even if it's more expensive, I'll go and exchange my Caudalie essence for the Tatcha one.

Re: TATCHA ESSENCE OR CAUDALIE??

I have the Tatcha and I honestly haven't noticed a difference in my skin. I've tried the Caudalie and I didn't like how it felt on my skin. Which one do you like better?

RE: Re: TATCHA ESSENCE OR CAUDALIE??

i like both! caudalie has glycolic acid which is a little more exfoliating than the tatcha one which has lactic acid. they're both amazing but for the price, the caudalie essence is amazing!!

Re: RE: Re: TATCHA ESSENCE OR CAUDALIE??

Thanks @reeaal!  I currently have Caudalie's Essence and at times I feel it's a bit too strong but I do notice that it does brighten.  I was considering buying Tatcha's but was hesitant due to the price.  Based on your feedback I think I'll tick with Caudalie's and only use it 2-3 times a week.

Re: RE: Re: TATCHA ESSENCE OR CAUDALIE??

Awesome! Glad I could help you out 🙂 The Tatcha one is awesome if you think the Caudalie is too much for your skin. If you could, buy or try and get a sample of the Tatcha. If you end up buying the Tatcha one and don't like it, you can always return it. 🙂

Re: RE: Re: TATCHA ESSENCE OR CAUDALIE??

I will definitely try it out next year 🙂 . My skin is sensitive and I think I was trying too many things at once and my skin got a little angry with it.  Recently though, I've been using it and my skin is fine with it. So long as I'm not doing too many things to it, plus I think my skin needs to adjust to some products, so I have to ease into them.  For now, I'm using it twice a week and my skin has been fine.  I really love Caudalie products!
