Sunscreen that won't break me out? That is cruelty free?<3

now that it is summer i really want a nice spf for my face. the ones i have tried so far have broken me out. my skin type is normal to oily sensitive acne prone. I have tried supergoop,coola, and drunk elephant. Please help me! I'm thinking about ordering the glossier one! tyia!!💖💖💖

Hi @draculasmermaid! I highly recommend Sonya Dakar Daily Shield SPF 30 for everyday use. It is not greasy at all, works well under makeup, and a little goes a long way. I haven’t had a major breakout in a while and I attribute it to switching to higher end skin care like Sonya Dakar products.

Have you tried Murad City Skin Age Defense spf 50? It doesn't break me out & no white cast. It's the only sunscreen that hasn't made my face look like an oil slick.

I normally breakout with all sunscreens. The only one I haven’t had an issue with is drunk elephant!

Hi @draculasmermaid, just popping in with one more recommendation for you: the Tarte Tarteguard is also a nice lightweight mineral sunscreen that comes in both a lotion version, and now a powder as well!

Second the Green Screen! I’ve been really loving it - it doesn’t make my oily face more oily and hasn’t broken me out. I have a slight white cast with it, but so far it’s the best physical, clean, cruelty free sunscreen I’ve tried!

This is what I use as well. I always prefer mineral over chemical sunscreens, chemical sunscreens are just blah for my skin.
