Sunday Riley Good Genes or Kate Somerville Intensive Exfoliating Treatment?

I'm stuck between the two. Does anyone have personal experiences with either? I have normal skin with breakouts. I've already ordered the Exfolikate, but I've read wonderful things about both and Good Genes might be more gentle?

@satdavis I love GG. Nothing compares. I used to be a Dr Dennis Gross Extra Strength Peel gal, I've converted to Sunday Riley. I don't find the scent odd or offensive *different sniffers might disagree* I just smell lemongrass. It's not as drying as other chemical exfoliants and dare I say results are visable immediately.

Could I use Good Genes along with my Kate Somerville Exfolikate cleanser? I don't want to over-exfoliate, but I wondered if Exfolikate would still be gentle enough.

@satdavis You absolutely can. If you use Good Genes nightly, you can use Exfolikate in the AM, 2-3 times a week. I use Luna and Good Genes every night and still exfoliate a few times a week. If your skin was sensitive, I’d say probably not. But since you’re normal, you’d be ok. I’m secretly stoked that @GG84 has converted to Sunday Riley permanently! Lol.

Thank you both for your help. I will probably use Good Genes 3 times a week with my cleanser daily or so. I also am using Clarins Cleansing Milk because it's really gentle, and I have a prescribed cleanser I'm supposed to use every night. My acne is clearing up with some prescriptions. I never had acne until I had an IUD, but it's a slow progression back to how it was before now that it's been removed.

@satdavis I had a so-so experience with Kate Somerville and a good one with good genes, but that's preference I think. I prefer chemical exfoliation to physical when it comes to face! 

The smell of good genes take getting used to, and too much would actually break me out, but with the right amount, it did wonders for my skin.

I tried the Dr. Dennis Gross Daily Peels, and they were good. Just not holy grail. I wondered if the Kate Somerville would be too harsh based on reviews. I know that not everything works for everyone though, so I still ordered it. I'm leaning towards Good Genes because it seems more fitting for my skin.

If you’ve already tried the Kate Somerville it might be nice to try Good Genes to be able to compare them and how they work for you. I personally love Good Genes, I have sensitive dry skin and it doesnt

borher my skin, it’s actually really helping to smooth it out!

I haven't tried it yet, but I did order it. I think I'm going to return it when it arrives, and I'm going to order Good Genes. I just wanted to hear some testimonies regarding both.
