Sunday Riley Good Genes - Place in skin care regimen

Hi - I’m looking to purchase the Sunday Riley Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment but I’m unsure where to insert within my current skin regimen. My current night regimen includes Cleanser (Philosophy) —> Essence (Caudalie Vinopefect Essence) —> Serum (Caudalie vinoperfect serum) —> Moisturizer (Caudalie vinoperfect overnight renewing cream). Where should I insert the Sunday Riley??? Before or after the essence??? Thanks!

Active ingredients like lactic acid (the star of the show in GG) should come right after cleansing (or a pH balancing toner if you're using one) in order to get the most benefit. So if you want to use it with your current routine, I'd use it before the essence. If you are new to AHAs (like lactic acid) be sure to build up your use slowly, start with 3 times a week and then you can move to more frequent usage over a few weeks.

If you find that your skin is sensitive with the GG, even with slow introduction, you can use it as a wash-off mask to help build tolerance. And make sure to wear your sunscreen each morning as active ingredients can make your skin more prone to sun damage.

@lorasu08 It all depends on your skin type. If you’re sensitive, in themornings S a 10-15 Mask should be good. It hopefully won’t irritate your skin. Now, if you’re not sensitive (like me) I suggest using it at night. You can use it in place of your current overnight Moisturizer. So, cleanse, tone, serum, Good Genes. ❤️❤️❤️ By morning, your skin will be plump and radiant! I love it. And don’t forget your SPF every morning.
