Soothing masks for acne prone skin..

Looking for hydrating masks for acne prone skin. I’ve never tried onebefore and would like to try one that’s not gonna flare me up. I usually only use a clarifying or exfoliating mask so looking for something soothing. Thanks !!

@geethab90 the summer Fridays jet lag mask is amazing, I use it as an all nighter mask and rinse off in the morning, @bakeamuffin I personally love this mask 😃#

I tried jet lag sample and it broke me out as it’s super thick and very hydrating I guess, my skin isn’t able to take it.

@geethab90 I have been looking for the same thing. I really liked the Ren Evercalm mask but alcohol is high on the list and there were some other ingredients in it that I didn’t love. It looks like SUMMER FRIDAYS - Jet Lag Maskwould be a great option, I have this one on my loves list ☺️

Thank you I tried the jet lag and it breaks me out as it’s super heavy moisturising. Looking for a more light weight hydrating one .. 🙂

Origins out of trouble. it has sulfur and that is fantastic for acne

I like The Birth of Venus jelly face mask from Lush. It’s pretty cheap, around 13 dollars I think, and it is very soothing but also good for acne. It’s super cool bc it starts out as a jelly and when u rub it between ur fingers it turns into a lightweight clay type of thing. I HIGHLY recommend, all of their jelly face mask are just soooo fun and unique, but also very affective. They’re also made from natural ingredients and cruelty free so that’s another plus.

Hey I have acne prone skin to I have a few masks that have been a favorite and before I apply any of them I use a sea salt exfoliater I honestly don’t know where I got that one though so the first mask is the silver powder by Mario badescu and it is the silver powder but I believe that ulta sells that brand and it is used to get rid of blackheads which it does but I also found that it lowers the inflimation if my acne and also the redness of my skin and scars, to take this mask off it requires a toner and I use the proactive step 2 toner which I love I have tried many toners but this one you can see the difference immediately after which I love. My second mask that I love is the DR. JART+ Rubber masks I have tried the yellow one and blue one which I believe and the firming and hydrating ones I did not see immediate results but my skin immediately felt healthier you can find this at Sephora. And for the final mask it is a African black soap or clay mask and this helps with scaring and pigmentation this is not a specific mask just the ingredient of the black African soap is what is needed.where to buy it.. this I have tried one from Walmart and ulta and love them. Hey thank you for all the suggestions. Yes even I enjoy exfoliating masks as if helps with the acne. But my skin gets dry in the winter and was looking for a hydrating mask. Will check out the rubber mask form dr.jart 🙂

Do you have a preference for wash-off vs sheet masks, @geethab90? My favorite soothing wash-off masks are FRESH - Rose Face Maskand PETER THOMAS ROTH - Cucumber Gel Mask Extreme Detoxifying Hydrator.Thereare a ton of great sheet masks for this purpose though. You could start with the Sephora brand here or try Leaders at Ulta.
