Skincare vegan and cruelty free recommendations

Hi everyone!

I have recently moved to London from Colombia, and I'm looking to buy products for my skincare cruelty free and vegan. Do you have any recommendations?

For Vegan, Cruelty free (and not to pricey yeahy!) I recommend you check out Pacifica.

They have a 'Wake up beautiful sleep mask' that's so moisturizing, a new ceramide line up for dry skin, even make up. You should go give them a look up @LauFishingTips I have tried so many things from that line, they are pretty impressive for affordable skin care šŸ’—

Hi  @LauFishingTips I've been a Vegetarian for 35 years now so could suggest many great brands but & it can get a bit overwhelming...

Far too many brands make claims that are not 100%... Some advice would be to start by looking at which countries a brand sells in... if in China then NO they cannot claim to be cruelty free due to regulations they comply with to sell there as China still mandates that products need to be subjected to often horrendous, inhumane cruelty & abuse of animals ...  als  certified programs like PeTA and Leaping Bunny are a great resource to see who really is ! Hope this helps!

@LauFishingTips  Of course! This is definitely information that we've got to share! 🐰

Re: Skincare vegan and cruelty free recommendations

Hi @LauFishingTips! For moisturizer, I currently use SEPHORA COLLECTION All Day Hyaluronic Acid Hydrator Moisturizer. Another option I tried in the past was First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer 1.7 oz/ 50 mL . If you need a serum to use before the moisturizer, most of The Ordinary’s products are vegan.

Re: Skincare vegan and cruelty free recommendations

Hi @LauFishingTips! What skin type do you have? Are there any specific concerns you need addressed? I have a few that I like to use, but I don’t want to recommend anything that won’t work well with your skin. There’s also a vegan section on here that you can check out: https://community.sephora.com/t5/Vegan-Beauty/gh-p/vegan-beauty-
