Sensitive Skin Face Primer Recommendation

I was using Tarte's "Clean Slate Flawless 12-Hour Brightening Primer" for years and until recently I was told that the product is no longer available in stores 😞 . The reason why I used this product was because my skin is sensitive and this seemed to work just fine. Heavy-silicone based products cause allergic reactions to my skin and I was wondering if anyone has great face primer recommendations for sensitive skin? Also, if the product is Cruelty-Free and Paraben-Free that would be AMAZING 🙂  Thank you!

RE: Sensitive Skin Face Primer Recommendation

I have been using the Dr. Brandt Pores No More Primer. Honestly it doesn't do much for my pores but it doesn't irritate my skin which is literally all I look for in a primer. I've also used the Stila One Step Correct Primer which felt really good on my skin and did not irritate it. Still looking for my holy grail though!

Re: Sensitive Skin Face Primer Recommendation

I get what I call sensitivity breakouts from silicone-based primers. I really like the Milk Makeup Blur Stick. I apply my BB cream with my fingers so I use the blur stick on top of the cream. The stick doesn't affect the cream or its performance and I can powder over the stick as well. It's been my day-to-day combo for about 6 months.

I've got the same sensitivity to the "cones" in primers. It only takes a couple of days for them to bring on the pizza face.

The Too Faced Hangover primer, and Becca Backlight Filter have worked for me. Looks like they are paraben free as well (not one of my own concerns). Too Faced is also listed in the cruelty free/vegan thread.

Thank you for the recommendation. Just recently, I bought the travel sized, Too Faced Hangover primer and so far its working nicely 🙂
