SPF

Hi I am a total skincare newbie but I’ve spent my entire summer watching Cassandra Bankson and James Welsh on YouTube but I’m so glad to have a place to ask a question!!! I started using SPF with my morning skincare routine about a week ago. First time I’ve ever done it as a daily practice and not just for a day at the pool. My job is very fast paced and once I start getting hot, my face begins to burn slightly. In the morning, I don’t normally wash my face. Sometimes I’ll spray a witch hazel/rose water toner on, then apply Vit C serum. I end with Cera Ve AM facial moisturizing lotion with SPF. No makeup. At night I cleanse with Cetaphil Great Value knockoff and apply retinol serum. Never burned until I started the SPF. Should I change? Or give it a while to see if my skin will build a tolerance soon?

@katherinej51679 @If your skin is burning, I would not assume your skin will adjust. I suggest trying a different brand. I really like the supergoop brand - it’s very gentle and I never feel like it hurts my skin! Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen Invisible Broad Spectrum SPF 40 PA +++ 2.5 oz/ 73.9 mL
