Rosacea-prone skin routine?

Hello!

I’ve been diagnosed with rosacea since 2019. As I’m getting older, my skin is becoming more sensitive. As of 2021, my skin has become extremely sensitized to almost everything. My routine I’ve been using for a year and half is burning me. I am asking if anyone with similar delicate skin can recommend some products for me.

my current routine is: Kiehl’s Calendula Face Soap/ Clinique After Sun/ Evian Mist. Night time: Neutrogena Makeup Wipes/Clinique Cream Moisturizer/ Kate Somerville Eridikate.

Re: Rosacea-prone skin routine?

My skin is oddly sensitive and I recently found out it's rosacea. I do well within Hey Honey and Jennifer Bradley. I us a local apothacary rose hip oil with vitamin e. I need oils as I have dry skin. Fruit extracts irritate my rosacea. Avoid citrus acids.

Sun screen is vital for us. I cleanse with Korres yogurt cleanser. I use the rose hip oil during the day. Mad Hippie A or C at night. Never together as they cancel each others out. Then honey moisturizer. Jennifer Bradley 4 in one camera ready as a concealer, foundation, sunscreen, finishing powder all in one.

Blushes are irritating. Still looking for one that doesn't cause a reaction.

Also, I use an exfoliant by Callie something. Coffee scrub they call it. Non irritating.

Thanks so much. I’ll look into those products. Also, never knew citrus acids were irritating. My face soap contains that:(

Re: Rosacea-prone skin routine?

Hi. I’ve gone through different lines of products meant for rosacea including FAB and Dr. jart cicapair...these didn’t do much. I switched my entire routine to paula’s choice last year and my skin has transformed. I use the CALM line moisturizer, the RESIST cleanser for dry skin, and a few other products. They have no odor and never irritate. Hope this helps.

Thanks! What else do you use from Paula, I just bought their azealic acid and noticed such a difference, but their resist cleanser stung my face.

Hi there! Not a Sephora product line, but I've been really enjoying Avene line for my rosacea. I have the Skin Recovery for daytime use and Cicalfate+ Repair Cream at night.
