Rash/small white heads after using face mask

A day after using the Sephora collection aloe Vera face mask I developed little bumps on my face and then the day after they turned into tiny white heads. I have no clue what to do...wait it out or treat it with something. If anyone has had a similar experience would love some advice!

I’m so sorry that happened to you ... I have very sensitive skin so i have to be careful... when this happened to me i took like a Benadryl then made a paste of oatmeal and water and put on my face to bring everything down.... for a few days after i just used what i know worked for my skin and it went away quickly . Hope this helps ❤️

@Kayfried123  That’s most certainly am allergic reaction.  Taking an antihistamine right away (I’m not a doctor but they help me with hives and breakouts) and babying you’re skin by using  as few familiar products as possible over the next week will both reduce the reaction and help you heal.  Try to stay away from anything with fragrance until it’s completely cleared up.  I’m so sorry this has happened to you.  

also, it helps to take a photo of the ingredient list on a suspected culprit so that if you have the same reaction with something else in the future you can begin to pare down which ingredients to avoid.

@Kayfried123 I agree, wait it out as it looks like an allergic reaction or irritation putting additional products on may make worse. I recommend using a gentle facewash in the AM and PM, nothing harsh like an acne cleanser or exfoliating cleanser and follow up with a good moisturizer. I would hold off on adding additional products into your routine (even if you use them regularly) until it calms down. Good luck!

try waiting it out to see if it calms down, using anything else right after may cause more irritation.  You could have had an allergic reaction, if you've never experienced anything like this before.  If anything i would suggest using a Cortizone cream to help calm the skin.
