Is Paula's Choice Azelic Acid or Paula's Choice Discoloration Serum better for acne scars and PIH (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation)?

@Cpullen35  The Paula's Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Booster contains 0.5% salicylic acid. I use it once or twice a day (though not daily because I'm lazy/forgetful sometimes) on most of my face, but especially where I've got active or disappearing acne. For me, this product does gradually reduce PIH. If I apply it to active acne, I'm usually left with little to no PIH once the acne's gone. Note that I use azelaic acid in addition to several other hyperpigmentation-fighting products (retinaldehyde, licorice root, alpha arbutin, kojic acid, etc.); it's not a solo player for me. 

I haven't used PC's Discoloration Repair Serum, but the ingredient list contains several hyperpigmentation fighters: tranexamic acid, niacinamide, soybean oil, and milk thistle, plus bakuchiol which can supposedly reduce hyperpigmentation (though I don't know offhand what % of bakuchiol's been shown to do that; this product contains 0.5%). If you want to hit your PIH from multiple angles and you don't already use various other anti-hyperpigmentation products, I recommend trying this product first.
