Hi All, I want to start using any serum or moisturizer which is vitamin c based, anti aging and not very oily. Kindly guide me to choose between Olehenriksen C-Rush Vit C gel moisturizer and Juice Beauty Green Apple Brightening Emulsion. If you guys have any other option please mention. Thanks

i love Sunday Riley C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum 1 oz/ 30 mL the brightening effects are pretty shocking. a bit pricier but i am a sunday riley fanatic and their products all actually work. highly recommend.

For vitamin C products, you want to look for low product pH and the L-ascorbic acid (most effective form of vitamin C), tocopherol, and ferulic acid ingredients for most effective results!

Ooh I love vitamin c!

Serums will always give you more benefits than their moisturizer equivalent, although you can combine the two for added benefit. The type of vitamin C can potentially have extra benefits as well.

Personal favorites: Dr. Dennis Gross C+ Collagen - this one is mindblowingly good. Crams 3 forms of vitamin C into one product - cleared my skin and made it glow. Warning that it is potent

Peter Thomas Roth Potent-C is also pretty strong (and effective)

Last, Ole H Truth serum. While I like it, the vitamin c percentage is very low. Great for daily use while the others you can easily alternate daily use.

Thank you dear. It is very expensive though. How long it lasts and how often you used it? I remember once I put lemon direct on my skin and my skin got burnt so quickly. Followed by some youtube skincare 🤣Hopefully it won’t be like that. I’m skincare beginner. I want to add something in my night time routine.

@Heen777 I use the Ole Henriksen truth serum daily and I find it’s been pretty effective, and a little goes a long way! I first started with a 7ml DS and it’s lasted way longer than I thought it would. It is a low concentration but I use it daily and I have definitely noticed some brightening. I also have super sensitive skin and I haven’t had any irritation with it at all. I think the mini size is a great value, and will probably last you longer than you think. I don’t use a ton, just a very thin layer on my entire face (one pump is enough), mainly because I don’t find I need kore, and any more wouldn’t sit that well under makeup.
