Nightly lip treatment

I need something to restore my lips after wearing matte lipstick all day. I’ve tried many lips balms but I have to reapply multiple times before falling asleep. I’m trying to find something that I can leave on over night and be able to throw on lipstick again in the morning. Suggestions?

Re: Nightly lip treatment

It's always so YMMV as you can see from all your responses below. I've tried so many things- the Laniege, Bite, Clarins, etc, but I always end up coming back to the Fresh Advanced Therapy- for me, it's the best, hands down.

Re: Nightly lip treatment

Hi @Jorgia, have you tried pairing any of these treatments with the Bite Agave Lip Scrub? I love using this before any lippies to smooth my lips, but often will use it after, to ensure I'm removing any color and allowing my balms to really work!

RE: Nightly lip treatment

Just came here to repeat what everyone else said! Bite agave lip mask AND lip balm, and the Laneige Lip Mask are all A+

RE: Nightly lip treatment

I second the Bite Agave Lip Mask, it’s still there the next morning and saved my dry pealing lips after just a couple of days! The Laniege (sp?) lip mask felt nice but wasn’t strong enough for me. The Bit one does have Lanolin though which some people are allergic to.

RE: Nightly lip treatment

I think I am alone here, but I do not like the Laniege sleeping mask. I get up a lot in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and it’s always GONE off my lips. It just doesn’t last. My current favorite for an overnight lip treatment is the Bobbi Brown basic lip balm in the silver pot.

Re: Nightly lip treatment

I've used Laneige, Neosporin, Fresh, and Dermalogica along with a whole host of assorted lip balms and the one and only thing that I've found that really keeps my lips soft and cuts down on any peeling/cracking/dryness is Clarins Lip Oil. It's also the only one that I can still feel in my lips when I wake up; I don't have to reach for lip balm before I even get out of bed anymore.

(I'm also currently testing Ulta's version, and it's quite promising as a much cheaper alternative!)

RE: Nightly lip treatment

I have used the Laniege Lip Mask and I love it, but I randomly decided to try Clinique’s Pep Start Pout Restoring Night Mask and I loved it too. It’s only slightly cheaper than Laniege but it comes in a tube instead of a pot, so I don’t have to worry about it getting stuck under my nails from dipping my finger in a pot.

RE: Nightly lip treatment

The Laneige lip sleeping mask!!!

RE: Nightly lip treatment

I second using the Laniege Sleep Mask!! Amazing stuff!

Re: Nightly lip treatment

@Jorgia Have you tried Laneige lip sleeping mask? It works great to soften lips at night. It has worked great for me.

I'd like to add another vote for Laneige. I barely ever have to use lip balm during the day since I started using it, and the jar lasts forever!

Re: Nightly lip treatment

Hi @Jorgia

Aquaphor is my personal go to nowadays but lots of folks love the Bite Agave Lip Mask, the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments, and the Laniege Lip Mask.
