Melasma

Anyone have experience with tackling melasma? I have switched to zinc broad spectrum sunscreen for my face to help prevent worsening, but still have some darker patches on my face that I’d like to get rid of or tone down. Any product suggestions for this? Thanks!

I had a bout with Melasma & it turned out to be hormonally-related (triggered by the birth control pill used at that time & cleared up by stopping that particular pill).  For discoloration, Vitamic C serum is amazing!

Hi! I have a few dark spots and I have been using the Murad Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum, and it has lightened my spots! The other key thing is exfoliation. I use The Ordinary BHA/AHA peel every two weeks (can be used more often), and also use the PMD microdermabrasion every week. Peels break down the cell layers, just be sure to go slowly and follow all directions, you do not want to over do it!
