Mario Badescu facial spray

Hi Everybody,

I was wondering if the Mario Badescu facial spray was worth buying because I have heard mixed reviews about. I'm open to any feedback I just don't want to ruin my skin/waste my money.

Re: Mario Badescu facial spray

@Emmagal   I like them quite a bit. I originally bought the aloe, cucumber, and green tea version, and the smell was delicious. So during the last sale, I also picked up the lavender one, the rosewater one, and the coconut one. However, the only thing I use them for is to refresh my face in hot weather, if I want something fragrant and cooling. I won't claim that they make my skin glow or anything like that - as far as I can tell, they make no difference. Also, the green tea one (which I'm using up before I start on the next one) sometimes leaves my skin slightly sticky. But it dries quickly and doesn't strip my skin, so there's that.

In short, I'd recommend them as a refreshing facial spray, though I note that I haven't tested them when I'm wearing makeup. I just can't recommend them as any kind of active improvement skincare product. But the fragrance is so lovely, and the spray is just right, not dripping all down my face, when I want a quick refresher.

@Westcoasty Thank you for the feedback ❤️. What type of skin type do you have I'm wondering because the result of using this product might differ on the skin type. I'm still debating on weather I purchase this item or not but your feedback was very helpful.

Re: Mario Badescu facial spray

@Emmagal   I have combo skin, and tend to be dry enough outside of my T-zone (which in my 50s is now mostly just my nose, which I'm sure will still look youthful the day I die!) that I have to put on moisturizer to feel comfortable after I cleanse. Light moisturizer in summer, something heavier in winter if we get snow.

Quick edit to add, I use the sprays as a self-care treat, really. I could splash my face with cold water, but these sprays are a delightful small pleasure to me. 😊

Re: Mario Badescu facial spray

I love the lavender spray it makes my face glow I don’t use it everyday. I use it once a week and the smell is so calming.

Re: Mario Badescu facial spray

Thank you for the feedback ❤️. Does it do anything else to your skin besides the glow?

Re: Mario Badescu facial spray

@Emmagal @I wasn’t a fan of them.

Re: Mario Badescu facial spray

Thank you for the feedback ❤️. Is there a specific reason you're not a fan?

Re: Mario Badescu facial spray

@Emmagal @It didn’t do anything for my skin. I have combo skin more on the dry side and it wasn’t hydrating or soothing for me.

Re: Mario Badescu facial spray

@SportyGirly125 Thank you for the feedback,  we have similar skin types so I don't think this particular item will be worth me trying. Do you any recommendations on other face sprays that have worked for you?
