Makeup removers for sensitive oily skin?

I use a drugstore brand makeup remover and each one I've tried always leaves my skin raw and so dry and flaky and painful around my eyes that I can't wear makeup the day after. I use two moisturizers, one for my eyes and one for my face but they don't help much. Any recommendations?

I use Micellar Water as a makeup remover.  I would recommend Bioderma Sensibio and Yes To Cotton micellar water.  Both are made for sensitive skin.  You can find Yes to Cotton at Target, Walmart, Walgreens or CVS.  Amazon also sells it.

You could also try the Lumene Lahde Pure Arctic Miracle micellar water if you can't find Bioderma (they don't sell Bioderma in Hawaii, unfortunately for me). I bought it at CVS. I've had success with that one (it's the only option with no fragrance out of all the drugstore options I've seen). I've tried the Garnier micellar water but that gave me little bumps so that was a no. Have you tried cleansing oils? I've tried Tatcha's Camellia cleansing oil with no problems as long as I rinse it off thoroughly and use another cleanser after. Oil cleansers can be a gentler way of removal since you're using your hands to rub the product onto your face instead of more abrasive cotton pads or towelettes. I do theatre a lot and have to wear heavy makeup, and after the 5th day in a row of scrubbing at my face with a makeup remover towelette I kinda want to stick my face in a bowl of ice water. It gets so raw! I also want to try Farmacy's Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm (whew what a mouthful!) but haven't had time yet. Farmacy is the only brand I've found with a night cream and moisturizer (Sleep Tight firming balm and Honey Drop moisturizer) that actually hydrates my skin and doesn't make my skin itchy or burn. It's also a great brand for rosacea.

RE: Makeup removers for sensitive oily skin?

Have you tried Bioderma micellar cleansing water? It's a drugstore brand but they have a sensitive line I use (and one for sebum but haven't tried. I have tried others in samples that burned horribly with scents or whatever else. The boscia sake cleanser was okay, gentle enough for use over eyes but I won't make the switch simply due to cost and there's still a slight scent or residue but I think has more added skincare properties.
