I am looking for a makeup remover, but I don't wanna use something like remover sheets (wipes), oils etc.. I would like to find something like creme or balm. Does anyone have recommendations? Thanks!
Cliniques take the day off balm is amazing, just check the reviews on a Sephora.com. It removes every trace of makeup without stripping skin or leaving a greasy residue. It's great for all skin types, even for acne prone skin.
@Anonymous I rec MUFE Sens-Eyes. It is a creamy consistency and not oily.
You could also try a micellar water; I just tried Garnier and it was gentle but I need to test drive it more before making a rec.
Good luck!
I love the clinque take the day off balm! It starts as a solid and you warm it up in your hands and it turns into an oil! make sure you put in on a dry face tho
dont get something expensive... its makeup remover. i recomend tarte deep sea gel. you can just use face wash too.
I have to agree with others here who suggest Clinique's Take the Day Off balm. A tub is pretty reasonably priced, lasts a long time, and really does take off everything! I use it every night as the first step of my skincare routine and don't think I will be switching anytime soon.
The Farmacy cleansing balm is soooo good! I got a deluxe sample and was immediately hooked. I was amazed at how well it took off my eye makeup without stinging and there was no oily residue in my eyes. I bought it during the Sephora sale after my first impression. You also don't need a lot, I'd say a dime sized ball is enough so the tub will last a long time.
Hi @Anonymous,
The best makeup remover that is not oil based is the Banila Clean It Zero. It's a cleaning balm/mousse and it's available on Amazon for around $20 for a big tub. It removes even the super waterproof mascara with ease. 🙂 Good luck!
Hey! One of the best (and affordable) cream makeup removers I've found is Pond's Cold Cream Cleanser. You slather it on while your face is dry and then take a wet washcloth and wipe it off and your makeup will come with it! Works really well with mascara too, but be gentle on your eyes when you wipe it off
