Lightweight, hydrating night creams/overnight masks?

With the seasonal changes, my normally combo skin has become very dehydrated and my night cream isn't cutting it anymore! I wake up in the morning and my skin is so tight and dry feeling. I use the Laneige Water Sleeping mask and the night cream from CeraVe (in the purple container), but both are not providing the level of hydration that I need at this moment! Any reccomendations????

Re: Lightweight, hydrating night creams/overnight masks?

I never hear anyone talk about this BUT a lightweight and a hydrating overnight mask which actually saved my combo skin when it really needed it is SKIN INC SUPPLEMENT BAR - Pure Deepsea Hydrating Mask If I were you I'd absolutely get a sample. This product is glorious. I also use it on my lips when they're cracked and disgusting and it revives them in no time. No weird scent, no colour, and it dries so when you go to bed you're not rubbing weird oils from skincare onto your pillowcase and bedsheets.

Re: Lightweight, hydrating night creams/overnight masks?

It's not marketed at a hydrating mask per se, but oh my god my skin G L O W S when I wake up after using the DR. JART+ - Cicapair™ Tiger Grass Nightly Re.Pair Mask. I can get 2 or 3 applications out of the little travel-friendly packets, and I like how I know the ingredients are good and fresh each time I open a new one (I'm trying to only buy products that are hygienically packaged). I've started using adapalene so my skin has been dry and flakey, but I used this mask for the first time since starting retinoids, and I woke up with zero redness, and the bounciest, softest skin I've had in months. It's a little thick and sticky at first, but it's worth it

Also I know this isn't what you asked for, but I can't emphasize enough how much of an impact having a humidifier wards off dry skin & a case of the sniffles in winter. For the small price of around $30, my warm air humidifer made me room balmy and comfortable during the freezing cold Montreal winter. Trust me, you won't regret it.

I love the  CLINIQUE Moisture Surge™ Overnight Face Mask to Hydrate + Plump 3.4 oz/ 100 mL ! I have sensitive skin, and this hasn't caused a reaction.

@tongxiaowei If you want straight hydration, I definitely recommend Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Luxury Face Oil 1 oz/ 30 mL or Sunday Riley Juno Antioxidant + Superfood Face Oil 1.18 oz/ 35 mL . Both are beautiful oils that will sink into your skin and give it the hydration you’re looking for. Apply some BELIF - The True Cream Moisturizing Bombovertop and you’ll wake up with some plump skin!

Re: Lightweight, hydrating night creams/overnight masks?

I actually use the Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Retinoid Night Oil 1.18 oz/ 35 mL rather than a mask or night cream. I've got combo skin too and I seem to have a problem with masks and creams clogging my pores and making me breakout. This works like a dream in the dry winter air here in Denver.

Agreed, since she has combo skin I'd advise her to use the Sunday Riley UFO oil
