Laneige vs Glow recipe - sleeping mask

Hey guys! Im looking for a sleeping mask and cant decide beween the LANEIGE Water Sleeping Mask and the glow recipe watermelon sleeping mask. I love glow recipe for the aesthetic but Im wondering if its worth the money. Any advice?

Re: Laneige vs Glow recipe - sleeping mask

I haven’t used either of those but the LANEIGE Time Freeze Sleeping Mask 2 oz/ 60 mL makes my skin feel so soft and plump in the AM. Though I haven’t noticed any major changes, I really like the texture and it’s great during the dry winter months.

Re: Laneige vs Glow recipe - sleeping mask

I've used both, and I've found that the Laneige water sleeping mask is better for hydration, while the Glow Recipe watermelon sleeping mask is better for getting rid of dead skin cells 🙂

Re: Laneige vs Glow recipe - sleeping mask

Hi, so I've used the Laneige water sleeping mask for years and loved it. I find the scent is okay (but if you're averse to fragrance you might not like it) but I love how this hydrates my skin and plumps it, it leaves a really nice glow the next morning as well. I use it about once a week, and I really see results with it.

Recently I got the Glow recipe sleeping mask and I have to say I was a little disappointed. It hydrates, but that's it. The texture is very water like and after application I didn't notice anything the next morning. My skin did not look plump or any different than a regular day. The packaging is really nice though, the glass jar gives a very luxe feeling.

Both brands offer these masks in mini's as well if you're on the fence. For Laneige I would really recommend this mini set they have LANEIGE Good Night Kit, it's super affordable and the mini mask will easily give you a few uses. Glow also has a mini size for their watermelon mask too, it will definitely give you a good idea if it's worth it for the full size.

Another note, in addition to @sp1771 notes. The Glow Recipe contains AHAs so depending on your routine, might be too much to add another AHA, @tesssa05. I really like the glow recipe one, it leaves my skin smooth and dewy, but i don't use it everyday.
