Kiehls midnight cleansing oil question

Hi! I am wondering if after massaging in Kiehls midnight cleansing oil, do I have to use water to wash it away? Or is it okay to just wipe away the oil with a cotton pad?

Cleansing oil needs to be rinsed off with water; the water helps lift it (and the dirt with it) off the surface of your skin so that you remove more of it than you would with just a dry pad/cloth.
