Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40

Hello! Need some advice. I purchased Ilia's super serum skin tint broad spectrum SPF 40. I like to continue using sunscreen in addition to the skin tint - I've got melasma and trying to get it under control. Would it be best to apply sunscreen (dr. Dennis Gross dark spot sun defense sunscreen) over the serum or vice versa? Thanks!

Hi! I apply supergoop glow-screen or unseen screen after my skin routine and let it set for a few minutes before applying the ilia skin tint.

Hi @Mai2018 ! Whenever I use a tinted moisturizer (and when I used ILIA's skin tint), I apply it over sunscreen. For me, sunscreen is the last step of my morning skincare routine, while skin tints and tinted moisturizers are a post-skincare makeup step. I always give my sunscreen 10 minutes to set up its protective layer before applying any makeup. 

You can apply these products in reverse if you want, but it's easier to apply the sunscreen first. You might have to be careful when applying sunscreen so as not to cause streaking or patchiness in the skin tint, though. I've reapplied chemical non-tinted sunscreen over makeup during the day by carefully pressing it onto my skin, without much rubbing.
