How to layer skincare?

I know you have to start with serum but then is it oil next? Then cream? I am fairly new to skincare.

You always want to go most watery to most oily. You never want to put anything that contains oil on before you add your water soluble products. Oil based products will block the absorption of your water based products - think of when you wax your car and all the water just beads up and runs off. The same is true of your products. So always start with cleansing followed by your toner. After that apply products that either have the consistency of water or are water soluble. Follow that with your oil based products then moisturize. Lastly don’t forget to always protect with SPF!!!

Hi, I’ve read that you apply moisturizer after the serum and then the face oil, at least that’s what I do with Argan oil.
