Holy Grail Essence?

What are your Holy Grail Facial Mists and Essences? I’m looking for something to use as the “in between it all” step. I have seen a couple of skin care routines where they suggest using a toner or essence or facial spray in between each step of your skin care. So, like... Double Cleanse -mist- Exfoliate -mist- Toner -mist- Mask -mist- Treatment -mist- Serums -mist- Moisturizer -mist- Oil/Sleeping Mask -mist- You get the idea! Give me ALL your recommendations for the “MIST” step(s)! Thanks!!!

Re: Holy Grail Essence?

I use three

MARIO BADESCU - Facial Spray with Aloe, Chamomile and Lavender

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist 2.53 oz/ 75 mL

Tatcha dewy skin mist (which Sephora won’t let me tag)\

I use these three all the time, and love them dearly. Sometimes I layer all three.

@AnnaKreil - The one I an currently using and have just repurchased is the SATURDAY SKIN - Daily Dew Hydrating Essence Mist.  I really love the mist on it and makes my skin feel nice and hydrated.

Re: Holy Grail Essence?

I am no stranger to an amazing Essence, @AnnaKreil. For a Mist, I love the Pyungkang Yul Essence Mist. It comes with a pump. I leave one in my shower and one by my sink. Rule of thumb is to spray and Essence within 3 seconds of washing your face. No need to pat dry. That’s why I leave one in the shower. I have oily skin, so an Essence is key during the summer so I don’t get too oily in the heat. At Sephora, my Holy Grail is AMOREPACIFIC - Vintage Single Extract Essence

. There is something truly special about this. I’ve been using it for 2 years and it just brightens and leaves my skin so youthful. I can’t live without those two Essence!

Holy Grail Essence?

my favorite essence is the omorovicza omoressence it's so silky and really makes your skin feel luxurious

Re: Holy Grail Essence?

Another vote here for the Caudalie Elixir. Im pretty hooked on it, as is my teenage son ... it really cleared up his awful skin!!

CAUDALIE - Beauty Elixir

Re: Holy Grail Essence?

I've just started using the Tatcha essence so I can't contribute my thoughts yet about it, but I do enjoy using the OLEHENRIKSEN - Pure Nurture™ Facial Water

mist as a pick me up throughout the day. It smells nice and fresh, and feels good on my skin. I've even used it when my skin was feeling a bit raw after using a night peel and it helped a good bit there too.

I'm a combo skin girl so I keep my mists down to a minimum in my skincare routine but a slight spritz throughout the day works wonders.

Re: Holy Grail Essence?

@AnnaKreil I am so glad I discovered Paula's Choice Brightening Essence.  Love it!

Re: Holy Grail Essence?

I only use a true essence after toning and I love the SKII and Tatcha. But my skin really likes mists and liquids in general - especially in my day time routine. The Caudalie Grape Water is an amazing product for general misting. One of the ways I love to use it is immediately in the morning which is usually about 45 minutes before I wash my face. It seems to re-activate my (lavish) night time skin care and make my skin feel drastically better when I get to washing it. Even the French pharmacy thermal waters are really good for this but I do like the grape water better.

RE: Re: Holy Grail Essence?

I started taking your advice and using the Grape Water first thing in the morning. It truly does “reactivate” my nighttime products! I’ve noticed my skin feeling much more hydrated and plump with this simple step. I know it’s been awhile since you posted this, but I wanted to come back and say thank you because this tip has been life-changing for my skin!

Caudalie Elixer is my favorite mist.
