Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

If you have what are your thoughts? I'm thinking of purchasing it, but I'm back and forth about it. I'm looking for some really good lip treatments since I always seem to put my lip care last.

RE: Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

I personally love it keeps lips hydrated all night and makes them soft. With the right amount it lasts until you rub it off and the jar lasts forever

RE: Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

Yea personally don't care for it. I use it as a chapstick now if I can't find mine. Doesn't do anything even if you leave it on overnight

Re: Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

I didn't find it to be any better than Vaseline, in fact Vaseline is probably a bit better. If you want something great for your lips and don't mind dropping a stupid amount of money for it, then give the La Mer lip balm a go. It is pretty wonderful and will heal and treat your lips like nothing Ive ever tried before. It tastes like minty chocolate and feels so luxurious. A teeny amount applied at bedtime is the best way to use the balm and the small pot will last you a couple of months or so. Pricey but an indulgence that pays off. La Mer The Lip Balm

Re: Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

Everyone raves about it all the time but for some reason, it doesn’t work for me and feels uncomfortable on my super dry lips. However I will swear by the honey lip mask and balm by Innisfree (jar and tube version)!  Affordable too.  I use it everyday. It’s the lip care product that I reach for the most. Gone through many already and need to buy more currently.  The funny thing is innisfree is a sister brand to laneige. Both under amorepacific.

Way too fragrant.

RE: Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

I have extremely dry lips and have tried almost every lip mask, scrub and treatment on the market including this one. My opinion is that is was nothing special and anything that has a scent to it always ends up drying out my lips more. Honestly, the best thing I found to help my lips is put Vaseline on them at night with a bit of Biossance 100% squalane oil on top. Vaseline even by itself does more for my lips than any other lip product I have tried.

Re: Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

@AnonymousI use it and find it soothes my lips. I apply it every night before bed. My spouse uses it, too. I'm on my second jar and plan to repurchase. I didn't like was their lip balm in stick form.

Re: Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

Yes!  It is my all time fave!  It is pricey, but worth it for me because I get super chapped lips.  I also love the different scents - vanilla is my fave!  @Anonymous

Re: Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

I have super dry lips and it did very little for me. Wearing a couple layers a lip balm to bed gave me the same affect.

Re: Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

Yeah it's total crap.

Re: Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

I recently bought this lip sleeping mask and so far I am happy with it. A little goes a long way. Of course I only wear it overnight. I wear the Bite Agave in the morning while getting ready then blot the excess off to apply lipstick. If it's a no lipstick day, I will wear Bite Agave in Smashed because it has a nice red wine tint.

Re: Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

It's nice and moisturizing but I don't think it does anything magical -  esp with that price tag

Re: Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

I love it! It really worked for me, giving me really full lips when i wake up in the morning. I think it is pretty worth it as well, given that after using it daily for a year, I haven't even used half of it.

RE: Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

Omg yesssss! I love it so much. $20 might be a lot, but a little product goes a long way. I had severe chapped lips and cuts on the side. Thisproduct really restored my lips. I wake up to a hydrated and supple pout 😉 This is a wonderful product. Smells like bubblegum and has really good ingredients that can also help with getting pink lips naturally.

Re: RE: Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

There are no ingredients in here to color the lips, so that claim doesn't make any sense. Same goes for hydrating. This is an occlusive product, not a hydrating one.

RE: Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

I use the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask. It works really well on my very dry lips. Be sure to exfoliate regularly and put it on after. It is also very sweet tasting which is a bonus. I keep one in my nightstand and another in my purse.

Re: Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

BITE agave is much better lasts forever and you only need the tiniest amount

RE: Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

Yes I did but unfortunatly was not a big fan (not in love with the brand in general) because I feel there is too much fragrance and it irritates my skin. I prefere the brand "first aid beauty" for instance.

RE: Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

I love the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask! The texture is buttery smooth and the fragrance is not strong (bonus!!). Even for the driest lips, Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask can heal that in a few hours. Sometimes I like to use this as a regular lip balm or wear it when I take naps so I wake up with soft lips.

Re: Has anyone tried the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask?

I have! A glorified lip balm is an interesting way of putting it. That is how I've been using it because a regular lip balm sometimes just doesn't cut it. Yes, it's nice at night where you can put a thick layer on and wake up with it mostly still there. However, I also like using it as a lip balm (it gives you a glossy look) so I dont have to re-apply balm so often. I do think it's a bit hyped, but I don't regret buying it, especially since you get a lot of product and I use it everyday.
