Girls I just want it all in a cleanser or 2! Plz tell me you have the answers to my Wi$hli$t!!

K here’s my Christmas list: see if we can find it all wrapped up in a product or two that you lovelies can recommend for me!

skin type, current routine (used very loosely), discoveries I have stumbled upon myself (I’m no newbie just in a rut):

Caucasian 43-44 yr old woman no longer denying the fact I am in full fledged cougar puberty (peri for those not on IG). I would label my skin depth as fair to light with pinkish undertones but not quite neutral. Def on the pink beige cool side of neutral. I naturally have med brown auburn hair but I have been sporting that platinum life for about 10 years and no plans to look back lol. Brown eyes, semi sensitive skin, was badly sunburned by retinol at age 12 when genius dermatologist convinced my mom 1% retinol with no sunscreen warning was appropriate instead of telling dirty 12 yr old me to wash my face twice a day and change my damn pillowcase ( but I’m not still bitter don’t worry). Point skin is oily but dry, semi small pores that clog easily but I’ve found more often it’s from dry skin no oil sebum being trapped in pores. But how do you clean out pores with exfoliation!!!!  Prefer clean skin care. Oh and those pesky beard hairs at starting to teen wolf across my face🙄. Were makeup 3 times a week if lucky but if I had a quick engrained routine I would def wear more often. Skincare every shower but can’t promise twice a day🫣🤷🏼‍♀️. So I use #pharmacygreencleanmeltingbalm for 1st cleanse. I love #josiemaranpinneappleenzymecleanser. What I am missing is a manual exfoliating scrub for enzyme off days. And a really good foaming get all the dirt out of my pores but don’t break my barrier cleanser for everyday. Ian thinking # #Caudileexfoliating scrub for manual and pharmacy whipped greens foam cleanser for every day. Then maybe something way less expensive for hydrating cleanser to be used when dry.  Am I missing any products that could pull double duty and not set me back $130+ for cleanser? Any products you recommend more? Come skincare queens help a gal have clear skin this holiday 😘 Thanks for any suggestions and for taking the time to read my craziness! Happy Holidays!

I am now using Cerave products and my skin has become better.

@LadyKay82   My favorite cleanser for dry skin which I've been using for at least ten years Kiehl''s 1851 Ultra Facial Cleanser, but it sounds like their Ultra Facial Barrier-Hydrating Cleanser is exactly what you're looking for.

Alpyn's Hydrating Cold Cream Cleanser and innisfree's Volcanic Swirl Exfoliating Pore Mask sound good.

Hi, @LadyKay82 !  Love your honesty and that you provide all the details to help you out. 😘  I have combo/oily skin that gets drier in the winter.  I'm also postmenopausal and have had cystic acne since I was 10.  My fave exfoliater is Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant Exfoliator Refill Pack 2.6 oz/74 ml Refill Pouch .  It's expensive, but it lasts for months.  My fave cleanser is Dieux Baptism Hydrating + Pore Clarifying Gentle Foaming Gel Cleanser 6.76 oz / 200 ml .  I also like The INKEY List Hyaluronic Acid Cleanser 5 oz/ 150 mL .  I have both of these cleansers.  I think the Baptism has a little more "oomph" as far as cleansing.  I also use the Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm Original .  That's a great choice for removing your makeup and works well with both cleansers.  (I use the exfoliator in the morning in place of a cleanser.)
