Gentle Morning cleanser for combo skin

I currently use PTR Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel at night and the PTR WaterCloud gel cream moisturizer. I’m looking for something I can use for a morning cleanser and moisturizer that will keep my oily T-zone in check but won’t dry out my cheeks and forehead. Any suggestions??

For my morning routine, I really enjoy the Ole Henriksen Face the Truth Gel Cleanser - it smells great, and makes my skin feel clean and refreshed, but not dried out. If you prefer something a little more exfoliating, the Clinique Pep-Start 2-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser is a great unscented option. 

My combo skin has really been enjoying Ole's Sheer Transformation as a daytime moisturizer, followed up with my SPF. If you prefer something with SPF already loaded in, I recommend trying Murad's Oil-Contorl Mattifier SPF 15. It gives you a little bit of sun protection with a matte finish!

This is probably not sold in Sephora as it’s a drugstore product. However, my dermatologist recommended it for me and it does wonders for combo skin. It might just be a very moisturizing cleanser. It cleans off all of my makeup and hydrates my combo skin. I try to use this only once a day though and not twice because I noticed that if you use too much you can produce more oils during the day. I usually just use it when I tend to become on the dryer side. But it is so good for people with sensitive skin as well. No harshness and it’s an overall great product!

I love Caudalie's oil cleanser as a simple, gentle morning cleanser. It leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth, not tight and dry, and doesn't strip your skin. It's very light and simple. I have sensitive, acne-prone, combo skin and it has helped with oil control AND dry patches. It's also a Clean at Sephora brand.

Hi @tokitoki, I have combination skin as well (combo-dehydrated - oily T and dry elsewhere).  Usually in the mornings, I just use a washcloth and water to wash my facem but when I do use a cleanser in the morning I like something light and gentle.  In the summer and warmer months, Youth To the People Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser is one of my favorite cleansers - it cleans without drying my skin out.  I also like Tatcha Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil - it's very gentle. 

I switch out moisturizers depending on the seasons.  When it's warmer my skin has really responded well to Dr. Jart+ Water Drop Hydrating Moisturizer - it's very lightweight but hydrating, and refreshing.  The consistency and texture is really interesting too - it comes out of the tube like a light gel-cream but when you apply it on your skin it feels like a cool dose of water.  It absorbs really well, is not sticky and leaves my skin feeling hydrated.  Youth To the People also makes a nice hydrating moisturizer.  Sephora has a couple of sets with trial sizes of the YTTP cleanser and moisturizer - one of the sets includes their mask which is great!

Hey, @tokitoki! First Aid Beauty's Facial Cleanser is the most gentle cleanser I've ever used! Their whole brand is great for people with sensitive skin 😊 I've been trying out Skyn Iceland's Glacial Face Wash lately and I've been loving it. It has a cooling effect and is gentle!
