Dry scalp

I have really dry peeling scalp any recommendations to help?

Re: Dry scalp

@katelynNRogers, I'm so sorry to hear you're dealing with a dry, peeling scalp - it's no fun. Have you been experiencing this for some time or has it been more recent?

Here are a few products you might want to consider, in addition to seeing a dermatologist. These were helpful to me in the past.

  • Briogeo Scalp Revival™ Charcoal + Tea Tree Cooling Hydration Mask for Dry, Itchy Scalp  - great for a once a week mask treatment.
  • Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Tea Tree Scalp Treatment Serum 1 oz/ 30 mL was a lifesver for me as a spot treatment. At one point, my work desk was directly under the HVAC vent so I would get hot and cool air depending on the time of year hitting my scalp. I would use this to spot treat the dry, flaky, peeling parts along my hairline and at my temples.
  • Kérastase Nutritive Hydrating Scalp Serum for Dry Scalp 3.4 oz / 90 ml feels moisturizing and nourishing. It also makes a great follow up to something like the Briogeo mask.

If you are out in the sun often or have a sensitive scalp, using a leave in conditioner like Ceremonia Guava Hydrating Leave-In Conditioner 6.7 oz / 200 mL and/or appying sunscreen to your scalp is a good idea - I've used COOLA Scalp & Hair Sunscreen & Color Protection Mist with SPF 30 for years, especially when I'm out and about. SunBum also make a good hair SPF. I've recommended both to many folks who have become fans.

Re: Dry scalp

Hey!! I’d love to recommend the COLOR WOW Money Mask Deep Hydrating & Strengthening Hair Treatment 7.5 oz/ 215 mL along with the COLOR WOW Money Mist Leave In Conditioner 5 oz / 150 ml

hope this helps! COLOR WOW also has great shampoo and conditioner!

Re: Dry scalp

@katelynNRogers is it possible your scalp is sun burnt?

Re: Dry scalp

@katelynNRogers  have you tried anything yet? JVN samples   helps moisturize. The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + Hyaluronic Acid Scalp Serum 60ml  is also great to add some moisture!
