What are some holy grail products that will remove dark spots on the face?

@SimpleJam40  Might depend on what’s causing your dark spots. But in general, the gold standard ingredient is hydroquinone. I’m in the US where hydroquinone’s Rx-only. (Used to be available OTC.) If you are too, you’ll need to see a dermatologist or your primary care doctor to get a prescription. You’ll wanna use that stuff under a doc’s supervision anyway: gotta give your skin breaks from it so it won’t cause rebound hyperpigmentation. 

Another potentially good ingredient (that doesn’t have hydroquinone’s side effects) is Melasyl. That’s something L’Oreal created. It’s in La Roche-Posay Mela B3 Dark Spot Serum, and there’s also a Mela B3 cleanser. 

None of these things are overnight miracles. For that, you’ll wanna see a dermatologist about IPL or laser treatment—though that can also take several sessions and it’s not cheap. And for our skin tone range, gotta make sure to find someone who really truly knows how to treat deeper skin tones.
