Clogged Pores vs Skin Texture

I have had these bumps on my nose for a while now and I’m not sure how to get rid of them (or if that’s even possible). Also, the bumps show really bad on my nose and forehead when I wear make up. Does anyone know what these bombs are? If so can you recommend some products to help get rid of them. Thanks so much!

Re: Clogged Pores vs Skin Texture

Hey I just came across your post and I’m wondering if you ever figured out what this was. I have the same thing around my nose

Re: Clogged Pores vs Skin Texture

Might be sebaceous filaments? I have bumps around my nose as well that gives my skin a rough texture. I exfoliate whenever I notice it, probably about twice a week max. I use a gommage gel off of Amazon. I think it's called Sparkling Lemon Peeling Gel. Afterwards, I spritz with Thayers witch hazel toner, pat in Drunk Elephant hyaluronic serum, and a light layer of moisturizer [check ingredients to avoid drying alcohols]. I typically use inexpensive products because of my budget, but serums are worth spending more on.

Re: Clogged Pores vs Skin Texture

@simplylaylah   I’m not sure what the bumps are though my first guess would be subclinical acne which is caused by excess oil

production.

Usually with skincare issues it’s best to see a dermatologist straight away so they can point you in the right direction.   It’s often cheaper in the long run than guessing and experimenting with different products.

My suggestion besides that would be to start double cleansing if you aren’t already and to follow up with a toner and a water based moisturizer.  Aha sérums help with clogged pores and evening out texture but I would definitely suggest you see a derm so you know exactly what’s going on.
