Cleansing balms

I need help finding a good cleansing balm that would remove my makeup without overly striping my dry skin. I need help!!!!!

Re: Cleansing balms

Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm Limited Edition Very Cherry 3.4 oz/ 100 mL @lizbeth2595 is the best ever

Re: Cleansing balms

@lizbeth2595 The INKEY List Oat Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm 5 oz/ 150 mL is great and affordable! Have a great day 💕

Re: Cleansing balms

I agree with the suggestion to use a cleansing oil if you have dry skin. For cleansing balms Farmacy's Green Clean is considered to be holy grail by many.  I've used it and liked it but personally I wouldn't say it's that much better than others. And it's a lot more expensive. I used Heimish All Clean Balm for a long time, before my skin got a lot more dry (middle age, ugh) and I switched to cleaning oils. It's reasonably priced and worked well for me. A lot of people like the Clean It Zero cleansing balm but I haven't tried that one. One anti-recommendation I have for cleansing balms is the Drunk Elephant one, I didn't like that one at all.

Re: Cleansing balms

@lizbeth2595  Glow Recipe Papaya Sorbet Smoothing Enzyme Cleansing Balm & Makeup Remover 3.4 oz/ 100 mL  is my favorite. It has never left my skin with that stripped feeling and it also doesn’t irritate my eye area.

Re: Cleansing balms

@faeriegirlthank you girl!!! I will for sure check it out. I’ve been using an oil cleaner and its irritating my eyes and leaving the skin around red.

Re: Cleansing balms

Instead of a balm, have you tried an oil?? Oils are great at removing makeup and are much better for dry skin! Sephora has a bunch of great cleansing oils. My favorite is Dermalogica Precleanse Makeup Removing Cleansing Oil  it's a little pricey but totally worth it, a little goes a long way! Another favorite oil makeup cleanser is Farmacy Clean Bee Ultra Gentle Facial Cleanser 5 oz/150 mL

If you're stuck on wanting a balm, I've never had a problem with CLINIQUE Take The Day Off™ Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm 3.8 oz/ 125 mL  drying my face out, it turns into an oily texture when combined with water and massaged into the skin.

Re: Cleansing balms

Thank you @katy1762 for your recommendations. I’ll look into them and see which one is best for me. 😁 I’ve used oil cleaners to remove makeup and they always irritate my eyes and leaving them red all around.
