Clarisonic shutting down

I’m so bummed, I finally bought myself a Clarisonic device last week on sale, it was 50% off for no apparent reason (I actually thought they’re probably releasing a new model). Because of this I splurged on the “smart” one. I opened the box today, plugged it in to charge it and sat down to read my email, lmao I’ve attached the email. So I paid $115 for something I won’t be able to use when the brush expires in 3 months? All the brush heads are long sold out of course. And even if I find them in stock somewhere I’m not in the financial position to stock years supply up now! And how long will the app be functional for even? I really think they should have disclosed this prior to the sale, many people in better positions would have still purchased knowing they had to buy tons of brushes. I can’t return it to a Sephora right now because I’m a high risk person area near Toronto and going shopping in a Sephora right now is outta the question. Do you guys think they may continue stocking just brushes? Anyone else in a bad position from this? I’ve read about off brand dupes that work but dermatologists seem to be suggesting against them due to them not being as tested and the abrasiveness causing premature aging and fine lines. I’m so mad I spent so much.

To my knowledge Clarisonic is owned by L’Oréal, I wouldn’t be surprised if Coty or someone bought them out.

I would be really surprised if someone didn't jump on the opportunity to produce replacement brushes. It's a sure money-maker!

I read the news last night. I bought my clarisonic few years ago. I've noticed all the online retailers that carry Clairsrisonic are selling out. In-stores, there's a quite a few left, but i'm sure they'll sell out soon. I call before going into any of the stores to find out what's left. I called the Sephora near me this morning and they still had quite a few left. I am stocking up.

Same here. I'm so upset that I can't even stock up any more of brush heads now. I had  exactly same thought with you when I bought the bundle with 50% off promotion a month ago. I actually used it only for three times since I got the package but I apparently purchased something that is only good for 3 months. The best thing I probably did was I bought make up brush as an extra attachment, so I will probably use this device as a "unnecessarily expensive makeup brush" after 3 month from now LOL. 

My only hope is clarisonic.com will restock the brushhead before shutting the business down, but I doubt they will give us the same promotion sale.  smh

Oh no! I have a Mia that I haven't used in a while with some unused brushes. That's a real disappointment. It sounds like this is it, including brushes. ☹️
