Caroline Hirons Skincare Freaks

Where are all the Caroline Hirons skincare freaks?
I follow her on Instagram and read her blog. She's so incredibly knowledgeable about skincare and her new book is being released June 2020. What is the most helpful piece of advice you've gotten through Caroline? Have you been able to get your hands on one of her famous kits?

@AMK721 I love watching her! Her instagram lives have been really fun. I also weirdly enjoy her calling out certain topics...I don't agree with her take on certain products or brands but she's pretty fair that not everything works for everyone. 

The most helpful thing I have learned from her is to consider not just ingredients but also formulation....it really made me understand why I didn't love any of of the The Ordinary products I tried (and I really wanted to love them because the price!). Probably the best product I use that is her recommendation is the la roche posay toleriane mist/spray. 

I wish I could get a kit. Did you wake up for the spring ones? That was a hot mess.

I'm not a huge fan, but I've looked at her site a bit. Don't use a cleansing brush. Use a flannel! I had to look up what that was.

LOL yes she's in the UK so there is a bit of a language barrier. She's no-nonsense and has worked with a lot of major brands. I don't follow 100% of everything she says (i.e. I use a Clarisonic brush and love it). But I've learned a lot from her site such as proper layering of products AM/PM.
