Breakout

I’m having a breakout on my chin but mostly my forehead, i have tiny little red bumps and they don’t itch or anything like that. What should I use? I’ve been told to try to the ordinary Salicylic acid 2% anhydrous solution serum but i figured id come on here first before i put anything on my skin that could potentially make it worse. I have dry skin and it’s sensitive!  Also I want to mention that I have been using the same skin care I’ve been using for 2 years now and I have breakouts like with one bump here and there but not this bad and it’s been going on for a week and a half. The skincare I’ve been using for years is alastin and i started using the ordinary soothing and barrier support serum seems to be helping with the redness.
