Best make-up [normal and waterproof] removing oil cleanser

Hi all. I was using The FaceShop's pore refining oil cleanser as my make up remover [great with waterproof makeup as well]. I would like to try something different and better for combination to oily skin type that is prone to breakouts. What are your suggestions ? Thanks!

If you're willing to splurge, the Tatcha cleansing oil is amazing. This is going to sound a little odd, but it doesn't quite feel like an oil in that super oily sense. Obviously it is oil based, but it feels more like a dry oil so I've found it's great for my skin and I get quite oily sometimes. The downside is it is rather expensive, but you do only need one or two pumps.

I love The Face Shop's Rice Water Bright Light Cleansing Oil- it's so light and affordable and really gets the job done. That said, on the opposite end of the spectrum, I really enjoy using Shiseido's Perfect Cleansing Oil. It's "heavier" but so luxurious feeling and really helps get out grits when they are there. It's more expensive but totally worth it.

Laura Mercier has two oil cleansers - one for dry & one for oily. I love them and a little goes a long way

The Boscia Makeup Breakup Cleansing Oil is definitely really nice, and inexpensive compared to other cleansing oils available at Sephora (e.g. the classic Shu Uemura). I like that there's a travel size available at a very reasonable price, so you can test how the formula/ingredients work for you. I find this oil super gentle--a lot of supposedly eye-safe and gentle cleansers still sting for me, but this doesn't sting my eyes at all. Yet it still manages to get all my eye makeup off as I massage it in. The scent is fairly light; I find it pleasant and don't think it would be offensively strong for most people.

I've been trying the Boscia makeup breakout oil. I used Sunday Riley CEO before, but it burned my eyes. Boscia has been pretty gentle. The Tatcha one is also really goood, but it's a lot more expensive than Boscia.

I've been using the Clinique take the day off (which seems to last a while!) and then a foaming water based cleanser

Hands down, The Tatcha Cleansing Oil!

I like the makeup breakup from Boscia or the Boscia charcoal cleansing balm. The makeup breakup you can try in the beauty to go area for $10 I think. It turns to a milk and washes away without any residue. The balm even though it does remove nicely Ifibdi need to wash my skin again with a cleanser. I don't mind but if you are looking for a one and done I would try the makeup breakup oil. It does have a minty feel so do keep that in mind. Boscia tends to not to irritate most skin types and my skin is sensitive and I haven't had an issue with those ever.

Thanks for the insight! I wouldn't mind the minty feel at all as long as I don't break out. I'll look for the mini boscia 😊

I am absolutely obsessed with the Deep Dive Glycolic Facial cleanser from Jack Black. I do have a true oily skin type and this is just gentle enough. I follow that with the charcoal micellar cleansing water from Sephora Collection

I have usually not been a fan of micellar water but I'd like to try the combination. Thank you!

My holy grail makeup remover is the "Purity Made Simple Mineral Oil-Free Facial Cleansing Oil" by Philosophy. I've never encountered anything that it can't take off! And that's including waterproof mascara, liners, and liquid lipsticks and stains.
