@lily217  Kinda depends on your personal preference of serum texture, any skin sensitivities or allergies you have, and your budget. Generally, a serum that contains l-ascorbic acid (the pure form of vitamin C) should be effective. Since ascorbic acid's infamously unstable—breaks down when exposed to light and air—many serums use one of many vitamin C derivatives instead. Of those, the most effective might be an oil-soluble derivative called tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate (aka ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate): theoretically, it can get deep enough under the skin surface to actually do some good. "Might be" and "theoretically" because it's still being studied; there's not nearly as much clinical data on this derivative as there is on ascorbic acid.

OLEHENRIKSEN C-Ing Stars Vitamin C Skincare Set I use this daily. Love it. And a little goes a lonnnggg way, i use such a small amount and apply to face. The price was a little steep but like I said if you consciously use a tiny amount every time it should last longer than you think.
