Best Exfoliating Products EVER??

Hello, Every1! I am new to this so any 5ips about anything are welcome.I HAVE DRY/SENSITIVE SKIN AND I AM HAVING A VERY HARD TIME LOOKING FOR AMAZING EXFOLIATING FACE PRODUCTS PLZ. I HAVE UNEVEN SKIN T ONE SLIGHT REDNESS A ROUND NOSE AND DRY SKIN. I ALSO HAVE LARGE PORA AND I AM 34 SO LOOKING FIRM AND SMOOTH IS A MUST ONSIDE OF INTENSE  HYDRATION. TY

Re: Best Exfoliating Products EVER??

Volition’s Turmeric Brightening Polish is a nice gritty scrub. A step above that is PMD Beauty’s at-home microdermabrasion. That leaves my skin so smooth! However I can’t use that while doing retinol so for now I stick to Volition.

Re: Best Exfoliating Products EVER??

@Anonymous Honestly there is no single magic product that can address all these issues. You need separate products for every problem. For exfoliating I would suggest you to use chemical exfoliant instead of physical.

PTR has a variety of peel pads and they are all amazing. I would suggest you try PTR Max complexion correction pads or Unwrinkle peel pads. It will help you with the texture issues and to some extent with the uneven skin tone.

For enlarged pores, You need a BHA product. Paula’s choice 2% BHA liquid is great. Other option is the ordinary 2% Salicylic acid (I’m using it for a couple of weeks now but unfortunately it isn’t working as well as Paula’s choice for me so I am switching back soon)

I would suggest you use the peel pads and BHA product on alternate days as they are both chemical exfoliants and using them both on the same day could be a bit too much for your skin.

Neither of these products will provide hydration. Instead you may need extra hydration when using these products as they can  dry down your skin a bit. Find a good hydrating moisturizer to use during day and night and if you are up for a little intense skincare routine, adding a face oil or balm as a last step to your night time routine will help a lot to improve the overall condition of your skin.

At 34 I think you should consider adding a nice serum to your routine as well.

Fell free to tag if you have any further questions.

@fatimamummy You gave VERY educated recommendations. So, I am also new to skincare and all this. I live in very hot&humid state as well as having dry, dehydrated skin. Redness also as texture and dullness &uneven. Sensitive and never have tried anything exfoliating wise except a scrub, which went horrible. I am good on moisturizer unless any1 or you have holy grails but need HELP with skincare recs plz, especially for exfoliators. And need help cause I am sensitive also and have never tried BHAs r Ahas, etc. Ty for your time and stay safe plz.

RE: Best Exfoliating Products EVER??

The power couple from Sunday Riley is fantastic! Good genes is the exfoliation featuring lactic acid and paired with the Luna Oil it does wonders for texture and flakey skin!!!

Best Exfoliating Products EVER??

Definitely check out Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos night serum. I used to use physical exfoliants (scrubs, etc.) until I tried this, and it's made a huge difference for me. I use it every night, and wake up with super soft, smooth skin in the morning. I haven't tried their Babyfacial yet, but I've heard great things about it as well.

Re: Best Exfoliating Products EVER??

Look into Drunkelephan baby facial and also their night serum.  Their product line is amazing!  You can get their trial/ travel size bottles for serum and oil.

Also dr. Dennis Gross peels are great - they are mess free and easy to use on the go.

Re: Best Exfoliating Products EVER??

@Anonymous Try the Dr.Denniss Gross peels (changed my pores/ hyperpigmentation /acne) when nothing else would work. They come in gentle, regular and extra strength so you can build up a tolerance. When first exfoliating sensitive skin, try to do it twice a week, then every two days then once a day at night gradually. Also, always wear sunscreen in the daytime as your skin will be more sun-sensitive!

RE: Best Exfoliating Products EVER??

Try The Ordinary AHA peel (the red one)! It is super amazing and inexpensive It does tingle quite a bit like the Baby Facial does, but you don’t have to leave it on for the full ten min and your face will still feel amazing! Also a couple of times a week exfoliate physically with the Neogen pads, they are incredible.

Re: Best Exfoliating Products EVER??

Try the Drunk Elephant Baby Facial, I have the same skin type as you do and this product is a must for us!
