Bare minerals or two faced foundation for acne skin?

Which foundation and concealer is best for acne skin bare minerals or two faced born this way foundation and I only wear makeup occasionally. Please advise.

As others have said, Bare Minerals powder is a great foundation for when you're struggling with acne. I used their foundation and powder concealer for years and loved it. Whatever one you choose, just make sure that you're removing it completely in the evenings so you don't clog your pores and cause more issues to your skin. An oil-based makeup remover followed by a gentle cleanser should leave your skin clean and refreshed, free from impurities.

Bare Minerals original foundation was the only thing I found that didn't clog my pores and make my acne worse. I have oily/combo skin and I have used it for years!! That and good skincare saved my complexion!! Gives very sheer coverage which is buildable!! Hope this helps!!

bareMinerals has fewer acnegenic ingredients than Born This Way. I use two websites when considering foundation and concealer: CosDNA and Skingredients. With CosDNA, you search for a product and it tells you which ingredients are acnegenic or potentially irritating (the higher the number, the worse it is). With Skingredients, you copy and paste the product's ingredient list, and it will tell you which ingredients are comedogenic (on a scale of mild-moderate-high). It's been a life-saver for my rosacea and acne-prone skin!

When breaking out, it’s best to let the skin breathe instead of covering it up which sucks because it may not feel the prettiest. I’d recommend It Cosmetics has an acne treatment concealer.
