Any recommended skincare and makeup products that are safe for fungal acne?

My face got better after using nizoral shampoo. I am hoping to see other people who has the same problem as mine and recommend makeup and skincare products that doesnโ€™t trigger fungal acne.

@RachelBzar, doubling @sockmagnet and @Coquetries on simpleskincarescience and being your own detective. - I check everything Sephora against skincarisma, which shows FA-triggering ingredients. - And the sss site led me to start using Pet MD Chlorhexidine wipes for the ketoconazole (+lactic acid) -- the same thing that makes Nizoral work. It's been a game changer! - My only other suggestion would be to stay wary of natural/clean foundations -- the oils & coconut alkanes in them is what kicked off FA in me last year.

@RachelBzar if you haven't already found it, search for simpleskincarescience - this is a great resource for anyone struggling with this issue.

I also had malassezia, used nizoral, and then searched for FA safe products. The ones I use are not on Sephora; it's Klairs Unscented Supple Preparation toner, Benton's Aloe Propolis Gel, and EltaMD UV Clear suncreen.

On Sephora, you can shop be your own FA detective by looking at the ingredient list and checking to make sure a product does not have triggers like fatty esters, cholesterol, meadowseed oil, or several other things.
