Advice on Face Moisturizers - Tata Harper Water-Lock

So, a little about my skin:

I have combination-to-normal skin, no breakouts, not sensitive, tiny little bit of surface redness on my cheeks (looks like Blush - so I don't hate it, but don't love it either)

I have an obsession for Moisturizers!

(And all skincare)

My question is....what do you think about Tata Harper Water-Lock Refillable Moisturizer with Skin-Smoothing Peptides & Hyaluronic Acid  ???

I already own:

Tatcha The Water Cream 

Tatcha The Dewy Cream 

Drunk Elephant Protini Moisturizer 

Farmacy Honey Halo Moisturizer 

NEW Dr. Dennis Gross DermInfusion Cream 

La Mer The Soft Cream (mini)

La Mer Creme de la Mer (mini)

And, many more! I love all of them!

Is TH Water Lock really worth purchasing?

Or, are the Moisturizers I already own better?

I don't know why, but I'm all of a sudden addicted, I mean in love (lol) with Tata Harper after using both Cleansers, the Resurfacing Mask, and the Radiance Mask - I guess I just love how my skin looks after using those few products. 

Has anyone used TH Water Lock Moisturizer compared to the other Moisturizers that I mentioned? What do you think??

That's a tough question. @Suzanne713 I mean obviously your skin care arsenal is already so fabulous!  ( um, wow!! 😍) But I get the pull of waiting to try something new. 

I think @SportyGirly125 has great advice, see if you can get your hands on a mini or trial size before committing to a full one. It's the most economical approach. 👌

I could open a Mini Sephora in my house 😂

But, I can't help it...and Gift Sets are my absolute weakness!

I noticed that the Tata Harper Water-Lock Gift Set is like $10 CHEAPER than just the Water-Lock Moisturizer on its own...

Do I need it? Absolutely not.

Do I want it? YES! Lol

I'm going to my local Sephora today and I'll try it/ask for a sample...I have a ton of Moisturizers...but I like to switch up my skincare routine all the time.

I agree with you and @SportyGirly125  to try it first....and then most likely Order it lol🥰

I actually have a nice GWP sized bottle of Caudalie Premier Cru Anti Aging Cream Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid 1.6 oz/ 50 mL but I haven't gotten around to trying it, from what your saying I should get to using it. It's that good eh? 😀

Ah yes, the sets the roll out this time of year, the deals on some are so good! I have my eye on one or two I'm hoping don't sell it before the fall sale.🤞🤞

What exactly are you looking for to help narrow down the selections for skincare and makeup? What skin concerns do you have and what makeup looks are you going for?

I guess my main skin concern is pores, little bit of texture, and the surface redness that I love/hate.

For Makeup:

I love light Dewy looks, Luminous, No-Makeup Makeup, Soft Glam, and the once in a while full glam.

@Suzanne713 I have tried several products from Tata Harper but couldn’t get past the smell of the products. You already have a lot of great products listed. If you really want to add that to your skincare I say go ahead and try a sample size of it first.

@SportyGirly125   it's funny how everyone's noses are different - I don't smell any "bad" or "horrible" scent in Tata Harper products....to the point that I couldn't use it.

I just smell a very light, barely-there, natural scent.

And, yes, I know I have a lot of moisturizers!🤣

Every year I buy the Tatcha and Drunk Elephant sets....but, now, I buy the Moisturizer with Refill sets, which both Brands now offer!

But, back to TH...if you can get past the natural ingredient scent (no fragrance added), you should definitely try The Regenerating Cleanser and The Resurfacing Mask - glowy skin for days!

I bought the Drunk Elephant Protini a few months ago and I just can’t make myself use it. The Tata Harper moisturizer is so much better and, at the same price point, it’s a no brainier. Also, I’ve tried Tata Harper Water Lock Moisturizer on my 12yo who has red cheeks and it evens out her complexion. When I ran out of Tata Harper and used the Protini, I started getting a lot of AK’s pop up on my skin that I’ll have to go get frozen at the dermatologist’s.
