Acne from grease and oil?

Where I've started working there is a lot of grease that has been getting to my face causing acne any good products that could help reduce the amount?

Re: Acne from grease and oil?

Hi! I recommend double cleansing with micellar water before washing your face. Using micellar water would help remove makeup, dirt, & oil. Then I would use a cleanser that wouldn't dry you out, I highly recommend the Cosrx Good Morning Low PH cleanser. It has tea tree oil (to help treat acne) and it foams up really nicely to cleanse your face. It's available on Amazon for $11. This combo together will help you affectively wash your face without drying you out and will help fight your acne. After cleansing, use witch hazel to tone your skin and follow up with your moisturizer!

Make sure to double cleanse at the end of the day. Also I would recommend the Luna from foreo. It's helped me soooo much!

The key here is to make sure you cleanse well and exfoliate regularly. It also wouldn't be a bad idea to keep a pack of cleansing wipes with you to refresh during your shift since, just like working out, the longer excess oil, sweat, and debris rest on the skin, the longer the recipe for acne has to cook up. Pun completely intended.

Re: RE: Acne from grease and oil?

I agree, I have done this exact thing when I worked around a significant amount of grease (I would use wipes with the rose petal witch hazel). I would usually do weekly face masks as well.

Clinique Acne Solutions clears acne and reduces oil secretion. Argan oil does this as well.
